Information You Provide

HuntHaven lets you enter and save information about your property and management work, including:

• Property name, address or location description, acreage, management goals, habitat notes, and target species.
• Property boundaries and management zones drawn on the map.
• Browse surveys, field observations, wildlife observations, harvest notes, task records, and management plan notes.
• Optional field and wildlife photos selected from your photo library or taken with your camera.

How HuntHaven Uses This Information

HuntHaven uses your information to organize your property record, generate local management-plan guidance, suggest tasks, and track habitat and wildlife changes over time.

Local Storage

During the current beta, HuntHaven stores property records locally on your device. The app does not currently require an account and does not sync your property records to HuntHaven cloud servers.

If you delete the app, local app data may be removed from your device according to Android behavior. If you delete records inside the app, those records are removed from the app's local storage.

Location

HuntHaven may request location permission so you can center the map, view your current position, or record GPS points while drawing a property boundary. Location access is used for app functionality. HuntHaven does not currently use location for advertising.

Photos and Camera

HuntHaven may request camera or photo-library access when you choose to attach a photo to a field observation or wildlife record. Photos are optional and are used to support your local management record.

Maps and Address Search

HuntHaven uses Mapbox to display maps and help center the map on a property address. When you use address-based map centering, the address may be sent to Mapbox for geocoding. Mapbox may process map and request information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Data Sharing

HuntHaven does not sell your personal information.

In the current local-first beta, HuntHaven does not share your saved property records with other users. Map and geocoding requests are handled by Mapbox as described above.

Future Cloud Sync

HuntHaven may later add accounts, cloud backup, multi-device sync, AI-assisted planning, and photo storage. If those features are added, this policy will be updated before the features are released.

Children

HuntHaven is intended for landowners, land managers, hunters, and habitat managers. It is not designed for children.
